One of the original Bass Players with Kingsize Taylor and The Dominoes - Ken Shalliker - (now, Director of Formby based Pinewood Bonsai) - Luthier has taken on a new challenge in his role as Luthier to Royalty, that of reproducing the King of Flat-tops - the Gibson J200.

His first task was to photograph the original Blonde Baby owned by Wes Paul... see movie above...

After which he took the precise dimensions of the model to a 1,000th of an inch - Wes Paul is collaborating with Ken on recording the step by step construction of one of the finest pieces of Luthier craft to come out of Kalamazoo.

Asked if he would be taking orders for the final masterpiece, he replied in the affirmative... there is one small caveat - the waiting list for this beauty is already booked to the year 2005.  Meanwhile he also embraced the task of setting up Wes Paul's Gretsch 'Country Gentleman' - 'Hoochie Coochie Man' is gonna sound great on this scorcher... see 'Country Gentleman' in hospital below...
